Terms of Service
1. Nature of the Service
SEVN (the "Platform") is an intermediary platform that connects sellers and buyers and handles payment and settlement on their behalf — it is not the seller of any product. The Platform never owns, stores, inspects, or ships products itself, and never manufactures, imports, or sells any product directly. The authenticity, quality, safety, legality, and accuracy of a product's description, along with shipping, are entirely the responsibility of the seller and buyer involved in that transaction, not the Platform.
The Platform holding payment for a period after checkout before settling it to the seller is purely an internal anti-fraud process — it is not, and is never described or advertised as, a legal escrow service. The Platform takes a percentage of the sale as a commission on every completed transaction.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
The service is only available to Pioneers authenticated through the Pi Network app (Pi Browser). Your account is for your own use only, and the Platform is not responsible for harm resulting from your account credentials being compromised.
To use the Service, you must have reached the age of legal majority (or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract) under the laws of the country or region where you reside. If a minor or a person with limited legal capacity uses the Service, they must obtain the consent of their legal guardian; the Platform is not responsible for any issues arising from a failure to do so.
3. Prohibited Items
- Food, fresh produce, and any product with an expiration date
- Weapons, ammunition, and explosives
- Narcotics and related paraphernalia
- Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, and pirated media
- Adult content and related products
- Any product that violates the laws of the country where the transaction takes place
If any of these items are listed, we may deactivate the listing and restrict the account without prior notice.
4. Payment and Settlement
All payments are processed through the Pi Network payment system. When a buyer pays, funds first arrive in the Platform's own app wallet; seller settlement happens as a separate step. The Platform keeps a percentage of the transaction (its commission), which may not be returned even if the order is refunded.
5. Points
SEVN has two kinds of points. Purchase points are earned by buyers (for example, by confirming receipt promptly) and can only be used to reduce the price of items bought on SEVN. Boost points are earned by sellers through activity and can only be used to increase the visibility of their own listings on SEVN; they never expire.
The "P" shown in the app is the unit for points, not Pi (π). One purchase point (1P) only reduces a payment on SEVN by 1π; it is never paid out as, or converted into, Pi. Boost points have no exchange value in Pi at all.
Points cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, Pi or any other crypto asset, and cannot be sent, transferred, sold, traded or lent to other users or dealt in outside SEVN. Purchase points and boost points cannot be converted into each other.
Any attempt to buy, sell or hand over points, and points earned by improper means (such as self-dealing or multiple accounts), may be removed without notice and may lead to account suspension. When an order is cancelled or refunded, points earned or used on it are reversed.
6. Shipping
Every product is sold and shipped only to buyers in the same country as the seller (international shipping is not supported). Shipping is entirely the seller's responsibility, and the Platform is not liable for damage from shipping delays, loss, or similar issues.
7. Dispute Resolution
Transaction disputes are filed through the Platform's own report/dispute feature, and our team reviews the evidence to decide on a refund or seller payout. The Platform's decision is final; if you disagree with a decision, it can only be contested through a separate legal process.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy of information a seller lists, and is not directly liable for harm arising between a seller and buyer in a transaction, including defective products or shipping delays and loss. The Platform may change or discontinue part or all of the service after prior notice.
However, where the law of your country or region grants consumers rights that cannot be waived or excluded (for example, the EU's right of withdrawal, or other countries' mandatory consumer-protection or warranty rules), nothing in these Terms is to be interpreted as limiting those rights, and that law takes precedence — the limitations above apply only to the extent such mandatory law does not.
9. Intellectual Property and Infringement Reports
Sellers who list product descriptions, images, or other content warrant that they hold the lawful rights (ownership or a license) to that content. Listings that infringe another party's trademark, copyright, patent, or other intellectual property rights are prohibited.
A rights holder who believes their intellectual property has been infringed may submit a report identifying the URL of the infringing listing, evidence of their rights, and contact information. The Platform will review such reports and may take down or delist the listing where warranted. Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights may have their access restricted.
10. Cryptocurrency (Pi) Risk Disclosure
All payments on the Service are made in Pi, the cryptocurrency of Pi Network. Cryptocurrencies are subject to significant price volatility, and there is no guarantee of their future value, liquidity, or exchangeability. The Platform makes no representation or warranty regarding Pi's market price, the timing of any future mainnet transition, or its listing on any exchange.
Because of the nature of blockchain-based transactions, a transfer that has been successfully processed cannot be cancelled or reversed. The Platform is not responsible for losses resulting from an incorrectly entered wallet address or payment information.
11. User Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for any damage caused to the Platform, its officers, employees, or any third party arising from the product information you list, your transactions, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
The Platform may suspend or permanently terminate an account's access to the Service without prior notice if a user violates these Terms, the prohibited-items policy, or applicable law, or if fraud or misuse is suspected.
You may stop using the Service and request account termination at any time. Where a transaction, settlement, or dispute is still in progress, termination will be processed once that process is complete.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction. Where mandatory law in the country or region where you reside grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts or to the protection of your local law, that right is not limited by this clause.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as the service improves or as laws change; we'll post a notice in the service when they do.
